Small Side ProjectThis slim little Tissot arrived within a job lot of watches from an auction and i soon decided it should have a new lease of life. The watch was not running and the crown and strap were missing, the bezel had taken a good few knocks but was in better state than some ive seen. The glass was good and the casing would clean up nicely, the lume in the dial however had started to crumble and come away. While waiting for parts i set to work on the casing and dial, cleaning out the old lume in prep for some fresh stuff :) With the dial done and casing re polished it was time to fit a new ETA movement and replace the bezel >> With the main work done it was time to finish the watch and although almost any nice quality strap would suffice i decided to keep things Tissot and so ordered a matching Tissot Italian leather strap and matching buckle. I may yet re lume the hands to colour match with the dial but for now im just happy to see it back in good order :) This watch was purchased from fullywound on ebay auction, for similar lots click here >> Fullywound With some much wanted new tools arriving im looking forward to some exciting new projects and hopefully i will be able to share some of my new ideas here in my blog, so until the next time :)
