Seiko - Lord Matic - Calibre 5606 A - Japan Domestic Model
Seiko's have been in my family for as long as i can remember ( going back some 50+ years ), with so many pros and very little cons its no wonder they are becoming so collectable. This little Lord Matic has some wear to the dial but the movement is a mid/high grade and a solid timekeeper.
Despite the years ive been restoring/servicing watches i have only recently really started to work on Seiko movements, i can say without doubt that the Japanese are very clever when it comes to micro mechanical design and i anticipate further Seiko work coming my way.
This watch was a nice change to the Swiss designs ive become so accustomed to, sad to see her go but i can't keep them all :)
Below are images from my Ebay sale page, the watch has now sold...sorry :)
